Control Chief Employees Putt for a Purpose, Supporting Meals on Wheels

Bradford, PA – April 11, 2025 – Employees at Control Chief Corporation stepped away from their desks and workstations for a few hours of friendly competition — and a great cause. The company hosted its annual Masters Week Putting Contest, raising funds to benefit the Bradford-area Meals on Wheels program, which provides meals and support to local seniors.
The indoor 3-hole course was set up right at the company’s headquarters, allowing staff to take turns testing their putting skills throughout the day. With a $10 donation to participate — and the option to purchase a mulligan — the contest combined lighthearted fun with meaningful community impact.

This year’s champion, Andy Walter , finished with a score of 6, earning the honorary CCCCCC Jacket (Coveted Control Chief Corporation Country Club Champion Jacket) and a spot on the company’s commemorative plaque. A separate prize was awarded to the most fashionably dressed golfer, encouraging participants to show up in their wildest golf-inspired outfits.

“Our team looks forward to this event every year,” said Brian Landries, Managing Partner and VP of Sales and Marketing at Control Chief. “It’s a great way to have some fun, build camaraderie, and support an organization that does so much for our local community.”
Control Chief extends its thanks to all who participated and donated, and looks forward to continuing the tradition next Masters Week.
