This advanced integrated wireless communications module is a transceiver that allows a direct RF communication link through the SLC500™ back-plane to create reliable, cost-effective solutions for applications in motion.
Control Chief’s SLC500TM modules offer a variety of cost effective solutions for your applications. The Communicator® is an integrated wireless communications module that installs directly into the chassis of the Allen-Bradley SLC500TMcontroller.
The Communicator® module can be used as a licensed 450-470MHz radio receiver device utilizing the existing processor and I/O modules in your SLC500TM with a Control Chief wireless transmitter.
In addition, you can use a 2.4GHz Communicator® module as a point to point or networked RF link between multiple SLC500TM‘s.
